Vascular Anaesthetists

A team of nine consultant anaesthetists provide vascular anaesthetic services at The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust.

They are fellows of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, and have undertaken additional specialist training in vascular anaesthesia.

They provide;
General anaesthesia (when you are asleep).
Various nerve blocks (when you are numbed for surgery).
Sedation (when you are made drowsy) for surgery.
They also supervise pre-assessment clinics.

We also have a 24/7 emergency vascular anaesthesia service.
